Handed over without explanation

I had a Telkom Mobile Data connection 2 years ago. I then lost my job and was Unemployed. Since then for 2 years I had not heard anything from them. Now 2 years later I receive a call from Attorneys about my account being handed over? No SMS, no email no phone call from Telkom, I just get handed over? I also have no idea how I owe over R2000 when I wasnt even receiving any data for all this time. Can someone from Telkom please f x this mess. South Africa STAY AWAY from Telkom please! Choose one of the other providers please!
