Great until you have an issue

Telkom has great prices and deals and their sales people will sell you the earth. Service with the actual products is fine, I've had an LTE line for about 6 years and didn't have any issues and another for 3.5 years with no issues either. Then you have issues and you will give yourself a heart attack trying to fix them over the phone.

The call center staff can either sound really helpful and organised or sound rude and untrained but the result is the same, nothing will get done and no one knows why.

I sat with a 10mbps line that was getting 2mbps for months but they said that couldn't be true (despite a billion pictures of speed tests) because the tech said everything was fine. Then they disconnected my line but I still paid for the contract for 3 more months (not just the router) without having even the 2mbps connection.

Now I have had amazon prime added to my other account but I'm told they can't cancel that on their side. They also randomly changed my contact number so now I also can't access my account.

Telkom are fine until there is an issue, as soon as there is, they can't do anything about it and you will spend your life listening to hold music while paying them their monthly fee.
