Good deal and service (mobile) but ZERO help with warranty of contract phone

I got a great deal on a mobile business contract with a nice Huawei phone, generally reasonable/good telephone support when I've had issues, but impossible when I had a warranty issue with my contract phone (headphone jack stopped working). They kept giving me the number of the company that did the telemarketing for them that secured the contract for them, who kept insisting I must speak to Telkom. After about 1 1/2 hours of back and forth phone calls and everyone saying it's another department's responsibility within Telkom (time and airtime wasted), I gave up and got the phone repaired at my own expense when it should have been covered under warranty. Be wary when taking a phone on contract from them.
