Getting Mobile contract cancelled is a nightmare - No one phones you to confirm the cancellation

So firstly i wanted to cancel my Mobile contract and was then informed that i must give at least 20 working days notice before this can happen.

So I then sent in my form to ********** on (19 June 2017) to cancel 20 working days in advance in order to get it cancelled on the end date of my contract (24 July 2017). Cell phone contract.

I never received any response from them via email. I have then contacted the call centre and spoke to Mbali Nkabinde on 17 July, i again had to forward her the cancellation form and she said that the cancellations department will have to contact me to confirm that i want to cancel. I requested them to give me a call, because i want to get it sorted out when it comes to an end on 24 July. I am still awaiting the call.

After hearing nothing for yet another week i again phone the contact centre on 24 July 2017. I spoke to another lady and she requested me to send her the cancellation form to her email address ( ********** . Now the third time i have to send the same form. She advised the same thing that someone from the cancellations or probably retentions department must contact me. I have asked her to please escalate the issue as very important or i will have to go to social media. I requested her line manager to give me a call. GUESS what, no one has contacted me yet.

I would APPRECIATE it if Telkom Mobile can contact me and get this sorted out TODAY, or I will definitely not recommend Telkom to anyone in the future and will take this further.

My Cell number is **********

I am still waiting..............
