Gave my email address to a 3rd party

It appears that that Telkom had given an email address I had for 7+ years to an unknown 3rd party. This person opened a new account and instead of their system flagging my account as already in existence, Telkom literally just GAVE it to this new person. Along with ALL my personal emails, that of my clients, etc.

Now after numerous calls, I am told that this was an \unforseen error\" that \"cannot be corrected\"... so I am to just let a complete stranger get access to all my policies, statements, subscriptions, etc?

Ever heard of the POPI Act Telkom?!"
