Frustrating poor service

Good day. I'm having a problem with Telkom regarding my prepaid number ***. Had this prepaid for some time now and this number is my life now. I'm November I got highjacked, and my phone taken too. Went to Telkom shop at Maponya mall to do a sim swap and I was told that they cant help me because I had a contract with Telkom and I still owe them. But the number in question has nothing to do with that as this is a prepaid number and has never been a contract number. I have been through their call centers, sent emails without any luck. Can someone take responsibility from Telkom and remove the block on my number, ***. I have just had it with poor service that I'm getting from Telkom agents and their shops.

I'm saying this again , *** is not a contract number and it has never been.
