Frustrated

My name is Terence Marais

********** 501

I app**** for ADSL at the beginning of March 2017 I was advised a technician would install my line on the 23rd March. I took an unpaid leave day to be at home and the technician was unable to assist as I was apparently connected to the incorrect constitution. I was advised the order will be sent back and I would get a notification as to when the tech will come once the issie was fixed. I then received a text on the 24th March to be at home and after waiting 4 hours I was advised that the issue was not resolved. I then received a text advising that the technician would be out on the 25th March and after waiting 5 hours was advised that the order must be sent back. this is 3 working days I have lost.

I have contacted Telkom numerous times and escalated the matter but can receive no resolution. After numerous requests for a supervisor to call me back I spent more than R400 on airtime as noone has returned my calls. As a new customer this is very frustrating and can only imagine the type of service I am going to get as an exsisting customer. The sad part is that I am unable to sign up with another provider as Telkom owns the infrustructure.

Not at all ammused at the financial loss I have taken to try and get a service from Telkom. customer service is non exsistant and their staff are poorly trained - seems they only know how to apologise. Even after advising what needs to be done as I work for an isp I am still stuck and frustrated
