From what I've learned about herpes it is almost the same as trying to get rid of Telkom.
I cancelled my account with Telkom over a year ago now, however which seems to be, by speaking to and seeing reports regarding Telkom's standard working despicable behaviour, they did everything in their power to ignore the cancellation, stating that I had to cancel over the internet then by going into a branch, then being told to go onto the internet, then being told by the internet customer care I had to.... etc, etc, etc. The only obvious reason I can see for this, is that they can then continue charging for a non existent line. The line had not been used for about 18 months. However in the end, the only way I could see forward was to let them know that I could not accept their incompetence and attempts to negate my cancellation. I stated I would not hesitate to lay a charge of ***** and attempted theft against them with the SAPS. Finally I received a sms stating the contract had been cancelled. Breathing a enormous sigh of relief I thought that was that. How wrong I was, they keep sending me accounts and I keep receiving demanding telephone sms's and phone calls.
