From Reliable to Unplayable – Telkom LTE's Gaming Nightmare

I've been a loyal Telkom customer for over 10 years, consistently purchasing their LTE data bundles and spending over R500 monthly. Despite the occasional ups and downs in service quality, I remained because I could still enjoy a reasonably low ping (180–200 ms) for online gaming.

However, over the past three months, my in-game ping has skyrocketed to as high as 3000 ms, making the connection completely unusable. For anyone considering Telkom LTE for gaming or other latency-sensitive applications, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
