********** sales by Telkom

I received a call from a Telkom sales agent Siyabonga Khanyile on 24 June 2020.He offered me a WiFi data contract during business hours at R399 a month. He confirmed that it was a month to month contract. When I asked for a reference number he said I must use his name, date and time of call as the reference to confirm anything regarding the contract. Now 2 months later I contacted Telkom to end the contract as it’s supposed to be month to month as he indicated I am now told it’s a 24 month contract and that I must pay penalties. I have been emailing Telkom and calling them for 5 days now. No one can assist me and no one can apparently trace the sales agent. This is *****! How can no one at Telkom know of this sales agent as surely there is a history of who captured the sale at Telkom.

People need to be aware of Telkom sales agents committing ********** sales in order to get the commission and then the customers suffer and are ****** by Telkom
