Telkom is the biggest ******* company ever. I had a 2 year mobile data contract for R199 a month. When the contract expired I sent a cancellation form as instructed by the call centre agent on 04 May 2017. Less than a year later on 3 March 2018 I receive an sms that I have been handed over for debt of R22916 on that account. The contract is cancelled and I have email proof that the form was received. How do they bill and hand me over for over R20 000 in less than a year for a contract no longer in use. Attempts to contact them are useless as you go on hold for over 30 minutes and then get cut off.

Please can you assist to close this off. I was informed that I actually owed R218 after I managed to get hold of someone at Telkom. The data line number was *** . I paid this on 26/03/2018 and emailed the proof of payment to ***. Today I received an sms from Nudebt saying I had been handed over and owe over R1021.17 in mobile arrears Ref ***. I seriously regret ever getting a Telkom line. Please get back to me as I need a confirmation letter to confirm that i no longer owe Telkom anything in order to get all these debt collectors tat have inaccurate information off my case.
