<p>I recently found out that I have a cellphone contract with Telkom which i no nothing about. They tried to debit my account of an amount of R3800.</p> <p>I called them and I was told that I have taken 2 cellphone contract telephonically in October.</p> <p>I haven't lost my ID, in fact I have my ID with me, so my question is where were the phones delivered, how do they validate the person taking out the contract and how did they get my banking details?</p> <p>I would like to also have the recording of the conversation that transpired .</p> <p>How safe are we with our personal details if someone can easily open account without the details being validated</p>
