<p>Earlier this year I noticed a debit order going off one of my bank accounts, marked Telkom. After enquiring about the account I found out somebody opened an account in my name. I have been contacting Telkom ever since to rectify this matter. However they were unwilling to provide me with the neccessary information required to open a police case (where the account was opened), also I was told they cannot provide me with any other information until I have an official police case number. In the mean time Telkom has blacklisted me for "defaulting" on the account. I have phoned them multiple times and gone into multiple Telkom shops none of which were willing to help me. </p>
