<p>My sister received an email yesterday saying she took out a phone from telkom and she owes 1700 that will be deducted on her account but the address on the statement it's Johannesburg address and my sister never stayed in JHB. She called call centre and she was advised to go to the police station to open a case and they told her all the details that they have belongs to her accept this address. They also told her they can't stop debits. I need a manager to call myself or my sister ASAP otherwise I will take a further steps there is no way that you can not stop the debits but you being informed that its ***** . She did an affidavit and when she went to a telkom branch they said they offline. You need to call her urgently or me because I am going to report telkom to Ambuds man</p>
