I am so disgusted at the **************** of Telkom. In September I received a sms to get my upgrade, in collecting the device at the Adderley store, Cape Town. I then decide to change my contract to a lower one, the assistant, Zaahid, assures me that my spending limit will remain R1.00 which it always was because I dont to be surprised by an amount at the end of the month. To my great shock my bill comes to R1188.14, and because i did not budget for this crazy bill, the debit order was unsuccessful, now Telkom wants to bill me for more than R3000 when my on 31 October was R1188.14 and today is only 05.11.2020. I called and spoke to Nokobonga who then explains the crazy amount. I will not recommend dealing with Telkom to anyone.
