I am writing to you as you were one of the very few people at Telkom who know what customer service is. I am now faced with another dilemma where the were two routers taken out under my name **********ly and I am being billed for same. I submitted an affidavit and ID copy to the store at Carnival Mall with consultant named Manqoba and received the case number ***1. I was assured by the consultant as well as Thabiso from the call centre that the sim cards for the routers would be blocked as soon as I submitted the ***** case while they undergo an investigation as at my call with him on the 17th December 2020. I have yet to receive any form of feedback from telkom(as always) regarding the incident and as at the last invoice sent to me the sim cards are still in use as you guys again want to debit me for **** that I did not sign up for. Instead of you guys focusing on *********** you customers, would you please escalate my case for urgent resolution as to how someone was able to take up not 1 but 2 new contracts under my name without my consent or knowledge. This is definitely a breach in customer confidentiality and the Protection of Personal Information Act. Its disgusting to be told my your consultants that third party companies can obtain our information as clients and thereafter make additions or amendments to out contracts. I received an sms yesterday advising that my account for customer *** has been suspended due to Collection. What bull**** us that? You guys fail to investigate how ***** took place on profile but so quick to suspend my account because I reversed a debit order which was in contravention with my authority? Does one need to refer to the Ombudsman in order to get things resolved with Telkom? I am sorry for lashing out on you with my frustration Luthando however I am once again extremely disappointed with Telkom. May you please escalate this accordingly and provide me with feedback soonest.
