***** prevention questions is a load of nonsense

I have always upgraded my contract telephonically. I was told for security reasons they ask ***** prevention questions. this is great but the thing is if i am delivering my device to my address as my invoice is sent to why am i not able to upgrade? this has become such a hastle now. I am considering switching my network provider. The questions that they ask is so irrelevant.
