***** HAPPENING WITH TELKOM AND MTN

a week ago for no reason at all my mobile number was ported to MTN without any request or permission from myself. I actually had problems with my car at the time and couldnt contact my family or friends on the phone except on whatsup text. i received a message from Telkom mobile on my phone telling me that as per my request my number had been ported to a new service provider. the number on my phone was a temporary sim card no that i was given when i went over to telkom 10 months ago. I went to telkom in nicolway to mtn nicolway backwards and forwards with no reponse or help as to had ported my no or why. I was told by mtn to bring in a police affidavit to say that my number had ***** on it before they would investigate as to what happened. I had to cancel my bank cards and block my account which caused me huge problems not been able to get any money or pay for anything as the person/s who had my number could have a OTP code sent to them and they could then take money out of my account. I went from pillar to post and then had insult to injury when telkom finally got my number ported back and needed to issue a new sim whereby I was asked to prove my residentail address and ID no so had to go back to the bank and ask them to print and help certify as my account was still blocked. Why wasnt the person who requested my number be ported not also asked for that identification there was no apology or I am sorry that this has happened to you. I had to continually go into all the service providers to try and get my number back. how is this allowed to happen and why is there nothing done about it . Nobody as informed me as to who did it and why and what they are going to do about it. This is ***** and yet it is allowed and carried on. I couldnt find any department at either of those service providers who would or could help
