I have a Mobile Contract with Telkom since Dec 2017 with this I registered on the website so that I am able to manage my account. Early in April 2018 I went onto my dashboard and noticed 2 additional contracts opened in my name. I called the customer service number and was on hold for more than 10minutes I then opted for the online chat and was then given the information I needed to open a ***** case. Having to take MY time to get the relevant documents I emailed it through to Telkom and have yet to have a confirmation they received it. A week later followed up, no response via email, 10+ minutes waiting on the line, had to resort to online chat once again. Case is pending investigation. Same issue up until today, No-one can give me any feedback and there isn't any timeframe. I just checked my account now and see that these 2 additional contracts amount to almost R1000!!! I find it disgraceful that TELKOM deems it okay to keep their customers just hanging and waiting. Yet you expect the payment UNTIL it has been resolved BUT you can't give a timeframe. Really???? You can't give me a direct number for ***** department either. I do have screenshots of my initial conversation whereby your agent confirmed the activation of those contracts were **********.

So I thought that everything has been sorted, however I have been receiving calls and messages requesting a payment for these ********** contracts opened. This is now reflecting against my credit report and giving me a bad score. I was called earlier today by one of your colleagues saying that the money must be retrieved and it is up to ME to do so, she then went ahead and said that I must open a ******** case against the employee who did this. Why is this MY problem now? Why must I run around and do the dirty work? When I call you wait forever for someone to answer. It takes forever for someone to get back to me and all I get are meaningless apologies. I want this sorted ASAP
