I received an email from Telkom on 1 July 2022 to say that my application for a Telkom Mobile contract has been submitted online and the Sales department will contact me shortly. I HAVE NOT APP**** FOR ANY CONTRACT. So my assumption is that someone has ****** my details and is trying to use it. I have been calling Telkom since Friday and I have been dealing with the most unhelpful and rude people. I have been very patient with Telkom because I was told on Friday that the Sales department was closed and that I needed to call today. But when I call, I wait 15 minutes + for someone to pick up, just for them to put down again. This is unacceptable and I'm still in the same position. This is potential ***** and no one is helping me.
