FOUR MONTHS WITH NO RESOLUTION

I posted a review about two month ago about an ongoing fault - despite the reaction to my post and techs coming out about 5 or 6 times - the fault has not been resolved. In fact, our switchboard was blamed which cost us R20 000.00 to replace and the faults remained. Telkom steadfastly maintains the fault is not theirs - so many Rands later and we are losing business from calls unable to come through - what remains to be done? IP phones will have to be our next step - now to cancel the Telkom service, that will be a struggle in itself. We are dissatisfied and disgusted in the ultimate non-resolution of this crisis and in the meantime we have paid an amount of R1000.00 for a call out which has never been refunded despite being promised that it would be.

So this morning I get an sms stating that the line has been tested and that there is nothing wrong with it. At that exact moment, the number rang and when I answered the line was dead, the second time this morning. All our lines are faulty and have been for the past months - ********** /6263 and 011- ********** . I have been in contact in with Pa, he and Rodney were here. Rodney was here again - no change. NO Change!!

I have now been contacted by the Techs who were here to say there is in fact a fault on the lines - there are a number of practices in the area with exactly the same problems for the same amount of time. Now, what happens about getting this mess fixed??

Well we have finally left Telkom and moved over to Nashua. Thankfully we are done with Telkom now. Three lines worth of business lost to Telkom.
