Forced to upgrade to Fiber from ADSL

I do respect that ADSL is being discontinued. However I am still within 4months of my ADSL subscription contract on my fixed line. My bill is currently R850 a month. I got a call from a Telkom consultant saying that I have 30 days as of this call to upgrade to a fiber setup. This is at a cost of R1050. Does Telkom not take into account that we are still within a 24 months subscription contract which ends on the 20th of December 2019. Is it ethical that I should be forced to pay an additional R200 for the fiber setup when we are still within our 24 months subscription contract. Is this not a breach of contract on Telkoms part?
