Fixed line cancelled, yet billed for it again and no feedback from Telkom

I submitted the cancellation for my fixed landline on 4 September with all required supporting documentation. I later received an sms that the line must be transferred to the holding pool, which I requested my ISP to do. THE line was transferred at the end of September, and the internet service was suspended from 27 September 2017. I didn't receive a confirmation from Telkom that the account has been cancelled, but accepted that with the service terminated it was cancelled. Then on 12 October I receive another bill for the fixed line rental of R199. I logged a query on the invoice on 12 October, but when I went to go and check the status, I see that the query hasn't been captured (so assuming the online portal doesn't work). THen I resent an email to the cancellations department to confirm cancellations, and also didn't receive a response. So now I'm still waiting for any response, and hope someone can sort it out

Good day Keagan Subsequent to your response, I was contacted by a Telkom representative, and I confirmed that the line should be cancelled already. On Saturday, 11 November I received an SMS message to say Telkom is sad to see me go, reference number is ********** 73. However this morning (Monday, 13 November) I receive another invoice from Telkom, showing the old invoice amount (as indicated above this shouldn't have been charged) and now a new invoice amount for services for November plus interest for late payment of the old amount. As indicated originally, the service was already suspended on 27 September 2017. Therefore please STOP billing me for a service I no longer have, and REVERSE these last two bills and interest. I look forward to your urgent call to rectify the matter.
