Fibre service poor !

My fiber with Telkom has gone completely useless. For the past month of so, the network either does not work or buffers continuously. I am paying almost R600 every month for 25/25 download and upload. I then received a call from a lady at Telkom saying that in order for this to be resolved, I need to upgrade to 50/100Mbps and pay additional R55 rand for a new router as they have a change in infrastructure or partner which brings my total to over R800. So the solution to my issue is to pay more? How does even this make any sense. I rather sign up with one of your competitors as they offer better services. I already have Vumatel in my new house and they do not give me any problems
