Fibre installed at speed of light

Telkom has been the subject of some bad reviews, but my recent experience has proven that there are gems in the coal seam. I app**** for a optic fibre connection at the Telkom shop on a Monday a few weeks back. After completing the paperwork I was told that the service would be installed at my house on the coming Wednesday. I smiled and thought "C'mon, Wednesday which month...". Told my wife and she gave the same smile.... Imagine my surprise when I get an SMS on Tuesday afternoon, saying that the technician will be there the next day, all day. True to their word, the technician arrived, did a quick survey, installed the connection, wired it through our home in a neat and professional manner, set up the modem and was done in the space of 6 hours. Telkom would have deserved five stars if the internet connection was a little more stable - however, the service we got had me smiling a genuine smile for a change. Thank you for surprisingly efficient and courteous service. As a result we have recommended the Telkom service to all the other residents on our estate.
