Faulty line and modem

I now had enough of Telkom's bad service, for months now I had billing problems, a faulty line and a faulty modem. Every week once or twice a week I have to call in to have my port reset to boost my line because I lose download speed. I pay for a 4mb line but run sometimes under 2mb yet Telkom freaken wants to get the rental paid at the end of the month. They say that they credit for the days your service is interrupted, newsflash - I don't want the credit, I want the service.

We have to drive 42km just to get to a Telkom store and for every time when we have this issue with driving out to the Telkom store we don't get credited for our fuel.

After the Telkom technician showed up at my house on Sunday 2 July 2017 at 08:00 that I had to accommodate as is. I'm told the line is now sorted but my under 3-month-old modem is faulty. Which I now sent my wife to the store to swap out the modem. She had to stand in the store for over 30 minutes where there was so many other people with the same problems.

The sales consultant Cameron Piedt nor the manager Anton Wessels at Somerset Mall is prepared to swap the unit out. I do realize that in a lot of cases warranty items has to be booked in to get checked but that leaves me without internet that I have to pay for and according to the sales consultant, there isn't a time as to when I can get the unit back. In my opinion they should be swapping the unit out as the damn thing has been faulty since day opn it was delivered to my door. I told them to check and see on the system that I've been complaining about my faulty line now for months.

I would like now at this stage to just have anyone from Telkom to get back to me to tell me that I can cancel the service so I can go either to Neotel or any other service provider.
