faulty adsl line and no technical help

I have recently registered for a landline, an adsl service, and telkom as my ISP. Since adsl activation about four weeks ago, I have never received an adsl signal on my router. All the troubleshooting has been done, at home, and over the phone with the telkom helpline. After hours of troubleshooting, it was discovered that my adsl suffers from a crossover, whereby my username is crossed with someone else. As a result, no adsl signal is received through my line, but is going to another person, whom they could even identify. I am told that this results from human error, at the level of cables at the local exchange. So a fault was logged for a technician to come and solve the issue. (fault # 141CWK290116). It has been two weeks now, since the fault was logged and no technician has ever contacted me and the problem is still not fixed. I have called the helpline every two days and they say they have escalated the fault. Up to today now, will be the fouth week since my adsl has been activated, and since then I havnt been able to connect even once. A technician urgently needs to fix this, this is really unacceptable.
