Fault not being looked at, Call center useless

On 25 Feb 2017 I logged a fault with Telkom. My 4Mb line is downloading at 0.02Mb and my landline is dead.

Called for an update on Wednesday 1 Mar 2017 and call center agent informs me that they have been "testing the fault remotely" since Monday, but assured me that a Technician will be assigned on Thursday.

Call for an update on Thursday 2 Mar 2017. Agent informs me that they are STILL "testing the dault remotely" and escalates the fault. Claims that a technician will be assigned on Friday.

Call for an update on Friday 3 Mar 2017. Agent claims to be unable to contact the technician, will send a message to tech manager to contact me with update.

Call for an update (None received) Friday 3 Mar 2017: Agent informs me that the fault is still with testing center. NO tech has been assigned. Will send her manager an e-mail.

I am paying Afrihost for a 4Mb accoutn which I cannot use because telkom is an *********** organisation without any inteligent technicians it would seem (Since after 5 days of remote testing they STILL do not understand they cannot fix it remotely).

Why am I getting this pathetic service?!?!?
