False technician/***** from Openserve.

My Internet line was damaged in December of 2016. Telkom then sent a technician to my home, one who didn't even know where to find cables but eventually got his act together. In the midst of all this he damaged my security system, keeping in mind this happened in January 2017. He said he'd be back the following day to fix it but until today (October 2017) he has never returned. This could be a plot to break into my house, because he did have access even to the inside of my home In order to do the repairs. Now he did have an openserve bakkie, which is why he didn't seem suspicious at first. I have contacted my area Openserve manager and he straight up told me that he will not get involved, that it is between myself and the technician. I went to get a quote to fix my security system, and sent it to the technician so that he can at least settle the bill to be paid, but then he said it is rude of me and told me that because of my age (21), I am immature and out of order. I have sent multiple emails to Telkom and openserve, have made multiple calls to them as well with no assistance whatsoever. I can not open a police case because the guy was not from my province even, he said he was sent from a different province because in my province there weren't enough technicians. However I will consult with a lawyer before the end of 2017. I'm not sure that this is a ***********, but if you do have issues with your line and it is serviced by Telkom / Openserve, make sure that if it is a gentleman by the name of Mike from Tzaneen, do not open your gate or home to him. I would put his telephone number on here, but let me spare him the agony.
