False promises

<p>I recently renewed my cellphone contract at the Pavilion Telkom which I didn't need to but did as I heard I will be receiving a free tablet with my Huawei P9. I did this on the 16th of February being promised this free tablet with no hidden agendas. I was told there was no stock and they will phone me when stock arrives. I went in twice after that to find out when I will be receiving my tablet and was told no stock I will be called still no one told me there was a clause to it. I went a 3rd time on the 16th of March a month later only to be told I will not be receiving it because it was all finished and only for the first 1000 customers which I was not told initially. I was then referred to the managers email address which I had to email..I did and with no surprise she told me the same story. A few days later the staff who renewed my contract emailed me explaining how he did not know about the deal and he apologizes..I rep**** with no response yet. I have a copy of my contract which clearly states device issued without Huawei tablet..handwritten in by the staff member who helped me with my renewal. Maybe I was the first 1000 I don't know or maybe if they had stock I would of got mine but I don't know because no one told me it was for the first 1000. I was told I will receiving a free tablet with my Huawei P9 and that's it no clause attached. If they are unable to give me a tablet I was promised I want to know what I will be compensated with for the miscommunication and confusion on telkoms part.</p>
