False debt

I can't believe them. I got a call from debt collectors to settle my Telkom account (I have never had a Telkom account) after explaining I've never had an account with them, I further requested the contract then to be sent to me after repeating myself again and again. They then told me they didn't have it, told me to go to a police station, to write an Affidavit to send to them to say I didn't have an account with them. All while my credit score has been taking a hit (and has been since 2015 when this was logged apparently.) Disgusted.
