False contract and no phone

3 or 4 months back, I got a call from an agent who said she was calling me from Telkom Mondo and was offering me a phone. She explained the benefits and the price but before we can conclude that call, I asked her to call me back in the afternoon because I wanted to check that from from the internet and make if I like it or not.

The agent called as promised but I ddnt answer her call because I was still not done with my research. I was having an account with Telkom for R49 of which I wanted to cancel and she told that , yes she can see my details but she can't help to cancel that account but told me what to do.

So because she already had access to my details....she then finalised the sale without my permission and I didn't even confirm or gave her my banking details over the phone.

Later that month or the following mont , I received a bill from Telkom including that phone I never took nor received, a phone I don't have. I sent an email but no one responded and I even sent my details on their watsapp platform but still no one assisted. After maybe 2/3 months I got a call from Telkom's collection's department, I explained my situation and that lady said she will forward a complaint and that they will call me but nothing again.

I then went to Telkom branch at Jabulani mall and they said the can't hell me because Mondo is another division and I need to call them directly and the guy gave me their numbers. I tried to call but I always get no answer.

I'm afraid that my name is going to be disrupted because of this issue and I need urgent assistance before I get blacklisted for something I never took nor have.
