FALSE and MISLEADING advertising - Big Deal promo
Telkom Tygervalley claim the Big Deal is \still running\", can't take more orders-out of stock. Yet keep MASSIVE banners up advertising this promo. If you advertise it then you must ensure there is stock or order more to meet demand, I don't mind waiting for stock to be ordered. I have proof that this was still being advertised yet I was denied the right to purchase. I contend that you should still offer me the promo due to the below:
SECTIONS 29 & 41 / FAIR & RESPONSIBLE MARKETING
Marketing may not be false, misleading or directly or indirectly deceptive, and the supplier must correct any misapprehension that might result. One may not for example claim that goods are available when they are not, or that goods can be delivered or services can be performed within a certain period, if this is not possible. A supplier found to be in breach may be ordered by the court to restore money or property to the consumer or compensate the consumer for losses or expenses relating to the agreement or the court proceedings.
SECTION 30 / BAIT MARKETING
Retailers may not engage in 'bait marketing' where goods are advertised at a specified price and then claim they are out of stock.
"
