False Advertising - NEVER HAVE STOCK - FORCED TO TAKE SOMETHING ELSE

I tried to Apply for the Macbook pro 13.3 inch touch bar a while back and i was told that they do not currently have any stock on that device available but they do have the Macbook air in stock. i asked when will they have stock on the pro? Once again i was told they not sure but they do have the macbook air.

Today i tried again and was told the exact same thing and the macbook air was pushed on me!

I told them that is not the item i want. I was then advised to go in store and ask to be put on a waiting list, but they cant tell me how long i would have to wait, it could be available anywhere from Mid July maybe longer but they do have the MACBOOK AIR (i am not interested in the air!!!!!!)

When i opened my first contract about 2 years ago it was he same situation and i have been stuck 2 years with a older device because i could not wait anymore!

Telkom always seems to advertises great deals that will never be in stock and you are forced to take the "available alternative" agents lie and just want to make a sale.

This seems like a bit of a marketing scheme to get customers interested in this amazing deal and when u apply they have no stock but they do have the older version for a similar price!!!

Obviously taking the "alternative" that is in stock will be much easier than going in store or waiting months on end.

has this happened to anyone else?

Has anyone else waited for something and actually received it?

I want what i app**** for and i do not want to wait months to receive it or be forced to take something else.
