False advertising, feeling like a ****

I app**** online for a MacBook pro as advertised on Telkom website. The advetised price is R659 pm x36. So a telkom agent called me to do the application, we went through the whole application and at the end he said I just need to pay a R5000 deposit because it is an MacBook..... no where on the website could I find this surprising information regarding a R5000 deposit! So I said he must cancel the application, however afterwards I could not help feeling that I have been ****med and felt like a very suspicious and ********** matter....
