"False advertising and confusing T&C's"

<p>I recently bought a Huawei P10 cellphone from one of the Telkom stores at Clearwater Mall, the one opposite FNB. The call card advert for this specific mobile phone was that it came with the Huawei Fit device for the first 3 000 customers. Little did I know that it was only for contract applicants alone of which I just bought cash from my savings however, it needed about four consultants to tell me that its only for contract applicants. So I went to Twitter. The third party that handles the @TelkomZA twitter account blantantly said I needed to be issued with the device regardless of the form of applicant (contract vs. cash). I'm already a Telkom FreeMe month to month contract holder...does this not qualify? </p> <p>Who do I listen to? Especially considering the fact that the call card for me was not only the device alone but the Huawei Fit watch as well. Personally I am holding on to the Twitter response as this has been done in writting. Therefore I have proof which says that "...kindly note the watches comes with a device.^MT2". </p> <p>The different departments, sales, marketing, sales consultants and social media need to be in one accord!!</p>
