False advertising

Telkom has been advertising the Samsung Galax tab with 500mb data @ R169 for about 2 months now. A ridiculously cheap price. How can they do that? Simple, they just advertise it without the intention of every selling it. The reason? The product has been discontinued and is no longer available. My question? Why do you continue to advertise and continue to advertise stock that has been discontinued and that you do not intend to sell anymore? I understand is stock gets sold out in a month of being advertised, but why do you still advertise it the following month knowing that you do not have stock. Same thing happened last year as well with the previous model. <br> I'm always disappointed by telkom. Valiant effort of trying to make the market more affordable, but the effort and struggle is definitely not worth the couple of rand you save.
