False Advertising

Good Day, on the 10/08/2018 I went to Telkom Store in Walmer Park Shopping Centre Port Elizabeth. I was assisted by Fundiswa the sales consultant. I advised that I would like to upgrade my adsl line to 10meg speed and as advertised on the internet package R807 with a free lit box. Fundiswa advised that I'm 5th on the list and the lit box is out of stock but will receive a sms shortly to collect. I then signed up for the package. Today I went into the store and was told theres no more lit boxes and I wont be receiving one. I feel this is false advertising and why did telkom let me sign up for a product they knew they never had. Surely me as the customer has rights. The Telkom call centre also advised me the same morning that Walmer Park Branch has 5 Lit boxes in stock. There was no word of while stocks last. And why would I be given a sheet to show I'm 5th on the list. The Manager was also on duty that day why didnt she mention anything. Regards Colleen
