False Advertising

The below was the private response I got from Telkom; THE NERVE OF SIKELEWA, if he only had half a brain to read my complaint correctly!!!

The deal did not pass, I purchased this deal that advertised a free tablet!! Then told that I must keep coming back until they receive stock and then a month later be told that Telkom made an advertising error!! TELKOM ATTRACTS CUSTOMERS WITH FALSE ADVERTISING - LOCKS THEM INTO A TWO YEAR CONTRACT AND TO TOP IT OFF EMPLOYEE FOOLS TO RESPOND TO THEIR CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS!!!

Official private business reply:

Good day

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused at the store, we apologise that the deal has passed. Please see our website for the new deals.

http://www.telkom.co.za/today/

Regards
Sikelelwa
Telkom Social Media Team

1st February 2017-Wednesday I ported my number to Telkom after 16years with Vodacom. I contracted with Telkom for the Unlimited Huawei P9 with a free Huawei 7inch tablet.

The consultant did not mention anything to me at the time that they were out of stock of the tablet. After concluding the deal he advsied that I should come back by that Friday for the tablet.

I have been going into the store on numerous times since to check on the stock and they come back to me with all sorts of excuses. I also called the call centre and they promised to come back to me - NOTHING!!

Finally last week 21st March 2017- I went into the store again and I was told that Telkom made a mistake and only 1000 customers would receive a free tablet! SUCH FALSE ADVERTISING!! Bad experieince with Telkom from the outset of contracting with them.
