Failure to move DSL line for internet business

I manage a company that employs roughly 40 contractors and employees who do dedicated internet work and cannot work without internet access. My company was scheduled to move from an office building in Pretoria to a different building (on the same block, 50m down the road) at the start of September.<br> <br> I spoke to Telkom about migrating the DSL line so that I could have internet by the start of September, and was told that I needed to wait until the last week of August to order the migration. I did this (after spending many hours with their call centre), and was told that the line would be transferred on Wednesday the 2nd of September. On the 1st, no technician was assigned to the problem yet, but I was promised a line by 4th. On the 4th (after multiple follow-up calls and multiple escalations in between), no technician had been assigned yet, but Telkom had done work on the exchange and they promised me a line for the 8th. By the 8th a technician was assigned for the 10th. On the 10th, the technician arrived and told me that our building was on a different exchange, did not support 40mb DSL, and it would take another 7-21 days to install the line once the line was downgraded.
