Failure to cancel contract

I have two contracts ending of which i want cancelled. I went instore to cancel my contracts and filled in all necessary documents on 01 October 2017. I phoned the call centre this morning only to find out my contract still has not been cancelled ! And my contract is ending on 15 November 2017.
