Failure to activate sim despite debiting account

On 8 June I completed a telephonic mobile contract application with Telkom's 10213 call centre. On 11 June the monthly fee was debited following which the handset should have been delivered within 5 working days. On 22 June i called 10213 to follow up on the delivery which hadn't taken place. On 24 June, the handset and simcard were delivered. On 24, 25 and 26 June I followed up with 10213 regarding the simcard which hasn't been activated. Averaged, the total airtime used by these calls amounted to an excess of 70 personal airtime minutes. 2nd call: I requested from Mbali to speak to a supervisor. I was then put on hold for over 10 mins after which i hung up. 3rd call: I was told that my request had been escalated and that the sim would be activated before close of business. Today, 29/6 I spent another precious 30 mins at the Telkom Store in 4ways to be told that a) yes the account wasn't activated but b) they couldn't assist me and that even if i wished to cancel the contract, I would need to call 10213. I spent another 5 mins of personal airtime on hold to 10213 before hanging up. It is impossible to spk to a manager or confirm in anyway that anything has been actioned.
