extremely poor service

Good day,

After logging numerous complaints with hellopeter and with no results I went to the only TELKOM branch in Cape Town and took my wifi router as well. I asked the technician to test it and as per the previous time, hesaid nothing is wrong with the router . When I explained that I get no answer from Telkom and that the promised technicien who was to supposed to contract me, never did, I ask what the next step will be to find a solution. The person told me that there is nothing that he or anyone else in the store could do. When I ask to speak to the manager he said there is no manager. When I asked to to speak with the second in command he said there is no such person. When I ask how to to resolve the slow and intermittent internet issue at my residence which has been ongoing for 3 months, he responded they cannot help me. When I asked how to get a technicien, he said he cant help me.

So finaly he gave me a number to SMS. 50519. OI told him I'm going to do it in front of him, which I did. IAt the end I got a message saying that "unfortunately my request could not be completed and I must report the problem to 10210, which I did, without any success or reply.

I tried the internet website, and I got the following message : There seems to be a problem with your service. Please call 10210 (residential) or 10217 (business). Alternatively visit your nearest Telkom Customer Services branch.
Check Faults

Now I ask you with tears in my eyes, why should I pay my bills. I actually suggested at the store that maybe I should cancel my contract with TELKOM ? They brought me a form to fill out to cancel my contract!!!!!!!

I havent seen such bad service in my entire life. I'm using internet for studies and due to Telkom, I cant.

I wonder if it actually is worth it lodging complaints. They want the money, but give NO service nor solutions.

Thank you
