Extremely Dissatisfied with Telkom Dainton Square Service

I visited Telkom at Dainfern Square yesterday to unblock my SIM card. Upon arrival, I observed the staff engaging in informal conversations, essentially having a tea party. When I sought assistance, I received a SIM pack with two default PINs and two PUK numbers, resulting in eight unsuccessful attempts to unblock my phone.

Upon returning to the store for help, I encountered a staff member eating chips at her desk, which was covered in oil. Despite informing her about the hygiene concern, she denied responsibility. Even after calling the manager, the staff member displayed a dismissive attitude, commanding the manager to handle the situation without any inquiry.

The manager, in turn, failed four attempts to unblock my phone and claimed I arrived at the wrong time, insisting that they were about to close, despite my timely arrival. He further expressed reluctance to assist, citing the call center as a time-consuming option and demanded that I return the next day. His tone was aggressive, and he treated me with disrespect, ultimately forcing me out of the store.

This experience left me without a working phone in case of an emergency, highlighting the utter disappointment in Telkom's service at Dainfern Square. The lack of professionalism, hygiene standards, and customer care are unacceptable. I am deeply dissatisfied with Telkom's people, business processes, and systems at this location. It seems as though they are running the Dainfern shop like a casual tech store, disregarding the urgency and importance of customer issues.

This incident reflects poorly on Telkom's commitment to customer satisfaction and highlights the need for improvement in staff training and customer service protocols. I hope this feedback prompts necessary changes in the Dainton Square branch for the benefit of future customers. Liberty Mabona the store manager is *********** and unprofessional.
