Extremely Disgruntled Customer: Ongoing Issues with Phone Repair: Telkom Greenstone

I purchased an iPhone 11 at one of the stores at Greenstone mall earlier this year, in January to be precise. The phone was fully functional up until June, when the screen just died while I was charging it. Having to fix the phone was one hell of a mission. Telkom kept on sending me from pillar to post, from one Telkom to another for booking the phone in with a Technician. I eventually took the phone to where I initially bought it which was Telkom Greenstone. It was booked in and brought back without any explanation as to why it cannot be fixed. The phone has been rebooked for the fourth time now and suddenly the reasons for not fixing the phone which is still under warranty, are said to be, Security ***** Issues, Device Ineligibility for Service - RNR which were non-explanatory to me as a customer. I escalated the matter to the Store Manager, and the response came back as the same. I am still paying for the phone that does not work and Telkom is not willing to meet me halfway in having to resolve the matter. I am extremely frustrated to even think that I have to pay for another year for a devise that does not work. I am not only dissatisfied but also deeply concerned about the quality of products and after-sales support that the store provides. I rely on my phone for various aspects of my daily life, and this extended period of malfunction is causing me significant inconvenience and stress. This problem could have been as a result of factory default which is not looked into as a possibility because as a customer I am expected to continue paying even though the device is no longer functioning. I am extremely disappointed and would never recommend anyone to get a contract phone from any Telkom for that matter if this is how customers are treated. Their service is terrible. Their are not easily accessible for support and their turn around time in having to address service queries sucks and as a customer you will be the one expected to follow up while they dont provide any solutions to your matter.
