Extremely disappointing service

I requested my account to be cancelled more than 30days ago and kept calling in to make sure my account would be cancelled, after being reassured numerous times I get a bill today and see that not only is my account not cancelled, but I'm being billed for September How does that work??? I would like the September bull reversed and my account cancelled
