Extreme breach of contract - DO NOT ENTER INTO TELKOM CONTRACTS!

Telkom has been taking money from my account on any day other that the one I signed permission to on my contract. Breach of contract allows me to walk away but they refuse to end the payment or the penalties caused by their mistakes.

They bill for failed debit orders they request two days before the agreed date and they even take money in the middle of the period agreed for these failed debit orders. Because they cannot ask payment after a weekend but only before.

The worst is that the consulted on the phone ( in the rare event that they answer) tells me that my contractual agreement is NULL AND VOID over weekends (23-10-2017). ***!!!!!

On the second phone call. Apparently Telkom consultants cannot cancel these failed penalty fees because their system runs their world even when they can see the dates. They refuse to pass me to a supervisor (Thumelo) or anyone in a position to take control of these absurd payments. Further they refuse to cancel debit orders as the contract states the method of payment but when I asked why the date of payment is ignored - I got the reply that no mistakes is made in asking payment in an account on the 29 Oct when the contract states the last date. This has been happening The bank confirms the debit order requests but the Telkom consultants seem to only see my fault in their system not working.

I thought Telkom is a professional company turns out they are amateurs - I never had a day of this kind of treatment with Vodacom. Needless to , I am sure, I am furious.

Well Telkom Mobile just keeps getting worse and worse. I finally got the debit date moved to the 5th, I have just been informed that the debit will be requested on the 30th. I wonder how this logic of asking debit orders before the agreed date of payment makes sense. All I can say is that I will never recommend this company to anyone. Higher data rates are worth the better service.
