EVASIVE TO A POINT OF DISHONESTY

After a massive network outage in my area. I log a fault with the callcentre and obtain a reference number. Countless text messages arrive in my inbox 25 July 2017 informing me of this. I then get a text saying I am back on yet I AM NOT! There is a red light on my router indicating that I am not connected. Several technicians try to reset my password and router using the usual 10.0.0.2 link.... who does not know that right?!One technician says quiety that it appears that there are two accounts and when I ask him to investigate HOIW THIS OCCURED, he becomes evasive.

I decide to buy a new router as this in my desperation to get back on the net. It took me several hours on line more than 3 times with a telkom technician to try and get me reconnected. She also found two accounts linked to my account.

I inform TELKOM that I am one entriy with one account, the very same one that I have had for 19 years!

Finally I employ an IT technician to help me. Finally I get up online with much difficulty mind, and find that with no access to the internet I managed to plough through over 3G's of data.

I hasten to add that I buy data through VODACOM and this is what I used to obtain access to the net while Telkom were down, YET, when I click on the Google histroy menue it refers to the web searching I did using VODACOM DATA ! claiming it to be a telkom cost. Someone must have hacked my account which I have now app**** to cancel. Meanwhile getting on the Telkom password tool via their website in order to change my password has not been fruitful for two days ..I have all the proof in my browser history.I CANNOT ACCESS THE PASSWORD TOOL NOR TALK TO A TECHIE .. it continues to say error

I do not want to have my password sent by Tellkom but to be able to reset it myself via Telkom's password tool on the website. I have tried to do this countless times and which is what reinforced my intention to cancel
There were problems getting my new router linked to my account as the username given to me by TEL:KOM does not fit the allocated space given by DLink.
Thanks for responding Moenieb
