ESim

I’m quite disappointed with Telkom currently but I excitedly did an eSim with them, the lady who was helping me at the store, said that I don’t need to worry about detecting data from my Telkom number if I correctly select the other network provider I have on my phone. So today in the am I correctly selected for the other network provider to be on since I had night owl, all of a sudden today I get a notification from Telkom saying I only have 1 GB reminding and when I called to ask what’s going on they told me I was active with my Telkom number, which confuses me since I correctly selected the other network provider and to show that I selected the other provider, they detected data equivalent to my activities, unlike Telkom who took +/- 5 GB. I’m quite disappointed because I was truly excited about the eSim thing but now I am having second thoughts and finally understanding why other network providers like Vodacom are taking their time with this eSim thing, I guess to ensure that mistakes like this don’t occur
