I was phoned by a person from telkom asking if they can migrate my services (4mb uncapped adsl) to a fibre line. I said it is not necessary because I will be moving the end of the month to my new residence. She said I must phone telkom and ask them for a free relocation of my service. This was between one or two weeks before end of January. I did it and arranged everything prior to not have any inconveniences when I moved in. I asked all necessary questions like is it going to be 4 mb download, how much will I pay extra, is there covarage at my new residance, etc. Everything sounded promising. I was promised that it is a relocation not a new line so I will have fibre on the payment plan as I am for the past year or two. 00:06 the 31st of January 2019, my services was stopped. They said around three working days. I phoned in after three working days and found out there was no fibre coverage as they are still installing fibre cables. The sales team at Telkom promised 7 to 21 working days I will have my internet up and running. I phoned after 18 working days and they said they don't have a portal for me.
I was ferious and went to telkom store and the lady said she escalated the matter but if they can't get a line for me I can just as well cancel my internet....
I phoned telkom and explained my story for the 100th time again and the person said that they can see line available for me but the technical group says there is nothing so they will get back to me.
On thos day, 8 March 2019, I am still waiting for response on this matter but seems telkom don't care about individual clients or am I wrong?
